Weight limit of up to 30kg for the entire product

This page explains how to set a weight limit of up to 30kg for an entire product.

If you have not yet enabled the app embed, please do so from the initial setup.

By configuring the settings on this page, customers will only be able to purchase "up to 30kg per order" for the entire product. If a customer attempts to purchase items weighing more than 30kg, an Alert message will be displayed.

Specific Examples

Using a product with color variations "Red 5kg, Blue 5kg, Yellow 5kg, Black 5kg" as an example:

✅ Pass cases (Total weight is 30kg or less)

• Red (6 units) → Total weight 30kg

• Red (3 units) + Blue (3 units) → Total weight 30kg

• Red (2 units) + Black (2 units) + Blue (2 units) → Total weight 30kg

❌ Fail cases (Total weight is heavier than 30kg)

• Red (7 units) → Total weight 35kg

• Red (4 units) + Blue (3 units) → Total weight 35kg

• Red (3 units) + Black (2 units) + Blue (2 units) → Total weight 35kg

Step 1: Create Weight rule

(1) Click "Weight rules" from the app's left menu. 

(2) Click "Create rule" from the Weight rules page.

(3) Enter the following on the "Create rule" page:

• • Title: Any text

  • Maximum weight: Enter "30"

  • Weight unit: Select "Kilograms (kg)"

  • Applicability: Select "Product"

  • Eligible items: Select the products or collections you wish to restrict

  • Alert message for maximum quantity: Enter any message

  • Product message: Enter any message

(4) Click "Save" at the top right of the screen.

Step 2: Enable Weight rule

(1) Click "Enable" at the top right of the screen.
