Weight limit of 10kg or less

This page explains how to set a weight limit to prevent purchases of items heavier than 10kg.

If you have not yet enabled the app embed, please do so from the initial setup.

By configuring the settings on this page, the eligible items can only be purchased up to "10kg per order". If a customer attempts to purchase items heavier than 10kg, an alert message will be displayed.

Specific Examples

When adding eligible items to the cart (or purchasing them), the behavior will be as follows depending on the weight:

• 10kg or less → Purchase possible

• Heavier than 10kg → Purchase not possible

Step 1: Create Weight rule 

(1) Click "Weight rules" from the app's left menu. 

(2) Click "Create rule" from the Weight rules page.

(3) Configure the following on the "Create rule" page:

• 1. Title: Any text

  2. Maximum weight: Enter "10"

  3. Weight unit: Select "Kilograms (kg)"

  4. Applicability: Select "Variant"

  5. Eligible items: Set the products you wish to restrict

  6. Product message: Enter any message

  7. Alert message for maximum weight: Enter any message

(4) Click "Save" at the top right of the screen.

Step 2: Enable Weight rule 

(1) Click "Enable" at the top right of the screen.
