Hide Cash on Delivery for Orders of $30 or More

This page introduces how to use Payment rules to hide the Cash on Delivery (COD) option on the checkout page when the Grand total is $30 or more.

If you haven't enabled the app embed yet, please enable it from the Setup guide.

By configuring the settings on this page, Cash on Delivery (COD) will be hidden on the checkout page when the Grand total (amount after taxes, discounts, and shipping) is $30 or more.

Example

The behavior will be as follows depending on the Grand total:

• Less than $30: Cash on Delivery (COD) is displayed

• $30 or more: Cash on Delivery (COD) is hidden

Step 1: Create a Payment rule

(1) Click "Payment rules" from the app's left menu. 

(2) Click "Create" on the Payment rules list page. 

(3) Enter the following on the Create Payment rule page:

• Title: Any text

• Payment methods: 

  • Select "Cash on Delivery (COD)"

  • Match type: Exact match

• Locales: All locales 

• Customers: All customers

• Orders: Specific orders

  • Minimum price: $30

  • Price type: Cart subtotal

(4) Click "Save".

Step 2: Enable the Payment rule

(1) Click "Enable" in the upper right corner of the screen.
