Display weight in the cart

This page explains how to display the total weight of products added to the cart on the cart page.

• The cart weight can be displayed using app blocks.

• App blocks are only available for Shopify themes that support Online Store 2.0.

• The cart weight can only be displayed on the cart page.

• To localize app blocks, you must have "Shopify Translate & Adapt" installed.

(1) Open the Shopify theme customization screen.

(2) Open the cart template.

(3) Click "Add block" (or "Add section").

(4) Select the "Apps" tab.

(5) Select the app block named "Cart Weight".

(6) Drag and drop the app block to the position where you want to display the weight.

(7) Confirm that the weight is displayed, and click Save.

(2) Open the cart template.

(3) Click the app block named "Cart Weight".

(4) Change the Text, colors, or Position within the app block.

(5) Click Save.

(3) Click the app block named "Cart Weight".

(4) Click the "..." (three-dot leader) within the app block.

(5) Click "Localize".

(6) On the translation page, enter the translation data in the section named "Order Limits Cart Weight".

(7) Click Save.
