A Product quantity rule defines "which products to apply what kind of quantity limit to". A Product quantity rule consists of the following six elements:
① Title: You can set a rule name for administrative purposes within the app.
② Limit details: You can set the restriction criteria.
③ Eligible items: You can set the products you wish to restrict.
④ Product message: You can set an optional message for products currently under restriction.
⑤ Alert message: You can set an alert message to be displayed if the restriction is triggered.
⑥ Status: You can set whether or not to implement the restriction.
Configured using Product quantity rules.
Up to 50 Products can be specified in a single rule.
Up to 50 Collections can be specified in a single rule.
However, there is no limit to the number of Products within a collection. If there are many products you want to restrict, please set them via collections.
This is the name of the rule used for administration within the app. It is not displayed to customers.
You can set the quantity conditions you wish to restrict.
Minimum quantity: Set the minimum purchase quantity.
Maximum quantity: Set the maximum purchase quantity.
Increment: Allows restrictions in units of multiples, such as in 2s or 3s.
Applicability: Set the range of applicability for the restriction.
For example, if you want to implement a purchase limit of 2 or more and 5 or less, enter 2 for the minimum quantity and 5 for the maximum quantity.
You can select the products to be restricted from the following:
All items: All products in the store will be subject to the restriction.
Specific collections: Products included in specific collections will be subject to the restriction.
Specific products: Specific variant products will be subject to the restriction.
Products with specific tags: Products assigned specific product tags will be subject to the restriction.
Note: If multiple product tags are set, it functions as an OR condition (any of them).
An optional message displayed on the product page of eligible items. If left blank, nothing is displayed.
A message displayed when purchase conditions are not met. The display of the alert message conforms to the implementation of each Shopify theme.
Display timing Sets the timing for checking if customers meet purchase conditions and displaying the alert message.
Cart updated and checkout: Checked when adding to cart or transitioning to the checkout page.
Checkout only: Checked only when transitioning to the checkout page.
Alert message You can set the message displayed to users who do not meet purchase conditions during the check process.
There are two types of status:
Enabled: Implements restrictions according to the rule.
Disabled: Does not implement restrictions.
