Limit from 2 to 5 items

This page introduces how to set up a product quantity rule to restrict purchases to a range of 2 to 5 items per order for specific products. 

Note: If you have not yet enabled the app embed, please do so from the initial setup guide.

By following the settings on this page, eligible items will be restricted to "between 2 and 5 items per order." If a customer attempts to purchase a quantity outside of this range, an alert message will be displayed.

Specific Examples

When adding eligible items to the cart (or purchasing), the behavior will be as follows based on the quantity:

• Less than 2 items: Purchase is not possible.

• Between 2 and 5 items: Purchase is possible.

• 6 or more items: Purchase is not possible.

Demo Product

The page below is a demo product with a quantity limit restricted to a range of 2 to 5 items per order. Please use it for reference.

Step 1: Create a Product quantity rule

1. Click Product quantity rules from the app's left menu.

2. Click Create on the Product quantity rules page.

3. Configure the following on the Create rule page:

   • Title: Enter any text for administrative use.

   • Minimum quantity: Enter "2".

   • Maximum quantity: Enter "5".

   • Applicability: Select Variant.

   • Eligible items: Select the products or collections you wish to restrict.

   • Minimum quantity alert message: Enter the alert message for the minimum quantity limit.

   • Maximum quantity alert message: Enter the alert message for the maximum quantity limit.

   • Product message: Enter any message you wish to display.

4. Click Save in the top right of the screen.

Step 2: Enable the Product quantity rule

1. Click Enable in the top right of the screen.
