Increment of 3

This page introduces how to set up a product quantity rule to ensure that products can only be purchased in multiples of 3 (e.g., 3, 6, 9 items).

Note: If you have not yet enabled the app embed, please do so from the initial setup guide.

Output

By following the settings on this page, eligible items will be restricted to "multiples of 3 per order." If a customer attempts to purchase a quantity that is not a multiple of 3, an alert message will be displayed.

Specific Examples

✅ Purchasable cases (Multiples of 3)

3 items → Multiple of 3
6 items → Multiple of 3
9 items → Multiple of 3

❌ Non-purchasable cases (Not a multiple of 3)

2 items → Not a multiple of 3
5 items → Not a multiple of 3
10 items → Not a multiple of 3

Setup method

Step 1: Create a Product quantity rule

Click Product quantity rules from the app's left menu.
Click Create on the Product quantity rules page.
Configure the following on the Create rule page:
- Title: Enter any text for administrative use.
- Minimum quantity: Enter "3".
  Note: When setting an increment, the Minimum quantity must be equal to or greater than the increment value.
- Set increment: Check this box and enter "3".
- Applicability: Select Variant.
- Eligible items: Select the products or collections you wish to restrict.
- Minimum quantity alert message: Enter the alert message for the minimum quantity limit.
- Increment alert message: Enter the alert message for the increment restriction.
- Product message: Enter any message you wish to display.
Click Save in the top right of the screen.
