Setting a Quantity Limit of Up to 5 Items for the Entire Product
This page introduces how to set a quantity limit of up to five items for an entire product.
For example, consider a product A that has variations AB and AC. If there are 2 items of variation AB and 3 items of variation AC in the cart, the total number is 5, so the order is possible. However, if there are 3 items of variation AB and 3 items of variation AC in the cart, making the total number 6, then the order is not allowed.
If you have not yet enabled the embedded app, please activate it from the initial setup.
How to Set Up
Click on "Product quantity rules" from the app's left menu.
Click on "Create rule" from the product quantity rules page.
3. On the page for creating product quantity rules, enter the following:
Title: Any text of your choice
Maximum Quantity: Enter "5"
Applicability: Select "Product"
Eligible Items: Select the product or collection you want to limit
Product Message: Enter any message of your choice
Alert Message: Enter any message of your choice
4. Click "Save" in the upper right corner of the screen.
