This page introduces how to set up a product quantity rule to limit the total purchase quantity to a maximum of 5 items across all variants of a single product.
Note: If you have not yet enabled the app embed, please do so from the initial setup guide.

By following the settings on this page, the total quantity of all variants for the eligible items will be restricted to "up to 5 items per order." If a customer attempts to purchase a total of 6 or more items across different colors or sizes of the same product, an alert message will be displayed.

When adding variants (e.g., Color A, Color B) of the eligible item to the cart, the behavior will be as follows:
Total of 5 items (e.g., 2 of Color A + 3 of Color B): Purchase is possible.
Total of 6 or more items: Purchase is not possible.

Click Product quantity rules from the app's left menu.
Click Create on the Product quantity rules page.
Configure the following on the Create rule page:
Title: Enter any text for administrative use.
Maximum quantity: Enter "5".
Applicability: Select Product.
By selecting "Product," the limit is applied to the total quantity of all variants within that product.Eligible items: Select the products you wish to restrict.
Alert message: Enter the alert message for the maximum quantity limit.
Product message: Enter any message you wish to display.
Click Save in the top right of the screen.
