Applicability
The applicability of the limit can be selected from 3 types.
Variation
Applicability:
Individual quantity limits are applied to each variation of a product.
Example:
If a maximum quantity limit of 2 is set for "Product F", the following outcomes occur:
Purchasing 2 of "Ice" → Possible to purchase
Purchasing 3 of "Ice" → Not possible to purchase
Purchasing 1 of "Ice" and 1 of "Dawn" simultaneously → Possible to purchase
Purchasing 2 of "Ice" and 2 of "Dawn" simultaneously → Possible to purchase
Purchasing 2 of "Ice" and 3 of "Dawn" simultaneously → Not possible to purchase
Product
Applicability:
A quantity limit is applied to the total number of variations belonging to a product.
Purchasing 2 of "Ice" and 2 of "Dawn" simultaneously → Not possible to purchase
(because the total of variations is 4, thus exceeding the limit)Purchasing 2 of "Ice" and 3 of "Dawn" simultaneously → Not possible to purchase
(because the total of variations is 5, thus exceeding the limit)
Cart
Applicability:
A quantity limit is applied to the selected products (or products belonging to a collection) included in the cart.

Purchasing only 3 of "Product C" → Not possible to purchase
Purchasing 1 of "Product C" and 1 of "Product F" simultaneously → Possible to purchase
Purchasing 1 of "Product C" and 2 of "Product F" simultaneously → Not possible to purchase
(because the total products belonging to the Automated Collection is 3, thus exceeding the limit)
